Removal and installation of the bottom operating levers of a back suspension bracket

Models Galant on 1993 вып.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.
3. Remove racks of the stabilizer of cross-section stability or bolts of its fastening to the bottom lever of a suspension bracket. At a corresponding complete set remove basic cups/plugs.
4. By means of a special stripper of type МВ9f35 liberate a finger of a spherical support from a fist ступичной assemblages - if the support is subject to further use, operate extremely cautiously.
5. Give internal bolts and a nut of fastening of the bottom lever of a suspension bracket.
6. Turn out back bolts and, - at a corresponding complete set, - remove a fixing collar.
7. Remove the lever from the car.
8. In case of need remove the plug from a back rod.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If removed, establish on the lever the plug.
2. Get lever assemblage on the regular place and fix its internal bolts. Screw and temporarily tighten a new nut.
3. Establish a back fixing collar, screw bolts. Tighten new nuts of fastening of a collar with demanded effort (47 H•м) temporarily tighten a collar bolt, - the definitive tightening of a bolt with demanded effort (100 H•м) is made after car lowering on the earth.
4. Запрессуйте spherical in a fist ступичной assemblages also fix its new nut, having tightened last with effort 60 ÷ 72 H•м.
5. Establish a bar of the stabilizer of cross-section stability with the racks.
6. Lower the car on the earth and make a definitive tightening of nuts of internal bolts of fastening of the lever with effort 120 H•ми a collar bolt (100 H•м).
7. Make sure of reliability of a tightening of fixture of elements of a suspension bracket.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery.

The bottom operating lever

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove a corresponding back wheel.
2. On models with ABS remove from assemblage of the bottom operating lever basic arms of electroconducting of the wheel gauge.

3. Remove a through bolt of fastening of the bottom fist to the operating lever ступичной assemblages.

4. Remove a bolt of fastening of the bottom operating lever to a suspension bracket beam.

5. Remove the lever from the car.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect the lever to a beam of a suspension bracket and temporarily tighten a nut of a fixing bolt.
2. Connect the lever to a fist ступичной assemblages, - also temporarily tighten to a hook of a through bolt.
3. Connect to the lever a rack of the stabilizer of cross-section stability. Tighten a fixing nut with demanded effort (39 H•м).
4. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
5. Make a definitive tightening of nuts of both fixing bolts with demanded effort (98 H•м).
6. Check up corners of installation of back wheels, in case of need make corresponding updating.


The bottom operating lever of adjustment of convergence

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The spherical support is built in lever assemblage and in case of its exit is out of operation replaced complete with last.

1. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove a corresponding back wheel.
2. Mark position of an adjusting bolt.

3. By means of a stripper of type МВ991113 liberate a finger of a spherical support from a fist ступичной assemblages.

4. Give bolts of fastening of the lever to a beam of a suspension bracket and remove lever assemblage from the car.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect the lever to a suspension bracket beam, achieve combination of adjusting labels of an adjusting bolt, then temporarily tighten a nut of a fixing bolt.
2. Запрессуйте a finger of a spherical support in a fist ступичной assemblages, tighten with demanded effort (28 H•м) a fixing nut.
3. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
4. Definitively tighten with demanded effort (69 ÷ 78 H•м) болтовую pair of fastening of the lever on a suspension bracket beam
5. Check up corners of installation of back wheels, in case of need make corresponding updating.


Models Diamante

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove a corresponding back wheel.
2. Mark position of an adjusting bolt.
3. On models with an active suspension bracket (Active-ECS) disconnect a rod of the gauge of height of a road gleam from assemblage of the bottom lever.
4. Prop up the longitudinal lever of a suspension bracket a jack and thaw самоконтрящуюся a nut of fastening of the bottom lever to the longitudinal lever.
5. Disconnect lever assemblage from a beam of a suspension bracket and remove it from the car.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect the lever to a suspension bracket beam, achieve combination of adjusting labels of an adjusting bolt, then temporarily tighten a nut of a fixing bolt.
2. Connect assemblage to the longitudinal lever and tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut with demanded effort (75 ÷ 89 H•м).
3. On models with an active suspension bracket connect to the lever a rod of the gauge of height of a road gleam.
4. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
5. Definitively tighten with demanded effort (75 ÷ 89 H•м) болтовую pair of fastening of the lever on a suspension bracket beam
6. Check up corners of installation of back wheels, in case of need make corresponding updating.
