Prorolling of brake system

Prorolling of brake system make in goggles. At casual hit of a brake liquid in eyes immediately wash out their plentiful quantity of water and address for the help to the doctor!


1. Prorolling of hydraulic system is made for the purpose of removal from it air getting to a path at performance of service of brake mechanisms, replacement of hydraulic lines or ГТЦ, and also at lowering below the minimum admissible value of level of a liquid in the tank of the main cylinder. If air has got to system owing to falling of level of a liquid in tank GTTS, or at a detachment from ГТЦ brake lines, brake mechanisms of all four wheels are subject to prorolling.
2. At a detachment of hydraulic lines from any of supports / wheel cylinders will enough pump over only given concrete brake mechanism.
3. If the detachment of a brake line from the union located between ГТЦ and one of brake mechanisms was made, the given part of a brake contour is pumped over only.
4. Each of brake mechanisms is pumped over in an individual order. To begin follows with as much as possible removed (on length of a hydraulic contour) from ГТЦ the mechanism. The order of carrying out of full prorolling of brake system is shown on illustrations.

5. Some times squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake at the muffled engine for dump of residual depression in the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
6. Preliminary carefully having wiped, remove a cover from tank GTTS, necessarily add to the tank a fresh liquid, then enclose under a cover polyethylene and screw it into place.

Do not forget to check regularly liquid level in the tank during prorolling performance. Excessive falling of level is fraught with hit in ГТЦ air that will bring to naught all undertaken efforts and will cause necessity of prorolling of all brake system.

7. Secure with the help of the assistant, prepare a stock of a fresh brake liquid, the transparent vessel partially filled with a hydraulic liquid, the piece of a plastic hose which is densely put on the gate of prorolling, and approaching rozhkovyj/nakidnoj a key for an otpuskanija/tightening of gates.

8. The gate of prorolling of disk brake mechanisms is located directly on the case of a support, drum-type - from the back party of a brake board.

9. Carefully having wiped, remove a protective cap and slightly ослабьте the gate of prorolling of the brake mechanism of a corresponding wheel, then again tighten it so that it easily and it was quickly released during procedure performance.

10. Pull on the gate the suitable plastic or rubber hose which second end lower in transparent vessel partially filled with a pure brake liquid. The hose cut should appear completely shipped in a liquid.

11. Ask to squeeze out slowly some times the assistant a pedal of a foot brake, having lifted thereby pressure in system.
12. At the brake pedal fixed in the bottom position slightly open the prorolling gate so that from it the brake liquid has started to be superseded. Watch an exit of a liquid from a hose. Through pair seconds when a pressure ослабнет, close the gate and allow to release to the assistant a pedal.
13. Repeat procedures of last two paragraphs until the free liquid will not start to follow from the gate from air bubbles, then pass to the brake mechanism of the left back wheel. Operating in a similar manner, pump over mechanisms of the remained wheels of the car.

Constantly watch that liquid level in tank GTTS did not fall excessively low!

14. At all do not add in the tank an old brake liquid, - it is in the higher measure гигроскопичной and in due course absorbs in itself a lot of moisture that conducts to falling of a point of its boiling and, as consequence, to decrease in efficiency of braking. Besides, presence at hydraulic system of a moisture promotes the accelerated ageing of a material of flexible brake hoses.
15. On termination of prorolling add in tank GTTS a fresh brake liquid, having resulted its level in norm.
16. Check up efficiency of functioning of brakes. The pedal at squeezing should show firm resistance, - the sensation of softness of its course testifies to presence in hydraulic contours of air and necessity of repetition of procedure of prorolling.

Do not start at all car operation, not being are absolutely assured of serviceability of functioning of brake system!
