1. Remove a brake drum (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of a condition of a brake drum).

2. Measure a residual thickness of frictional overlays of brake boots. |
3. At deterioration of overlays below limiting admissible value (1.0 mm) replace boots in gathering with drums.

In order to avoid loss by the car of course stability during braking, replacement of components of brake mechanisms should be made for both assemblages of one axis in the complete set. |
4. At revealing of an appreciable difference in a residual thickness колодок from the left and right party of the car check up serviceability of functioning of wheel cylinders and estimate a condition of working surfaces of their pistons. |
