The forward G-gauge

G-gauges are used only on all-wheel drive (AWD) models and established in a luggage space under a carpet covering (the back gauge) and under assemblage of the central console in car salon (the forward gauge). Gauges transfer on ECU ABS the information on the overloads arising during dispersal or braking of a vehicle. The analysis of arriving signals together with the data accepted from wheel gauges, and the information on working parametres of the power unit allows ECU to define reliability of coupling of protectors of wheels with a road covering and to exercise administration of functioning of the hydraulic modulator taking into account the given factor.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assemblage of the central console (the forward gauge) / a carpet covering in a luggage space (the back gauge).
2. Disconnect from the gauge electroconducting.
3. Remove about the gauge a cover (the back gauge).
4. Remove the gauge from a basic arm. In case of need dismantle as well an arm.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If removed, establish into place a basic arm of the gauge.
2. Establish the gauge on an arm and connect to it electroconducting. Tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort (11 H•м).
3. Establish a gauge cover (the back gauge).
4. Establish into place console assemblage / a carpet covering of a luggage space.
