Regenerative repair of a support of the disk brake mechanism

On some models two-cylinder supports of disk brake mechanisms are used. Regenerative repair of such supports is made similarly described more low for one-cylinder assemblages with stand only a difference, that replacement twice большего quantities of cuffs and пыльников in this case is required.


Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a support from assemblage of the brake mechanism (see Has undressed Removal and installation of supports of disk brake mechanisms) and transfer it on a pure workbench.
2. Depending on a design of the brake mechanism the piston is taken from the cylinder in remove one of two ways. In the first case it is necessary to enclose in assemblage wooden брусок which will carry out a support role, then to submit to an inlet aperture of a support the compressed air which will push out the piston from the cylinder.

Be careful, - watch, that at pushing out of the piston fingers of hands have not appeared between its face surface and a persistent surface! In the second case the piston is taken from the cylinder by a reversing.


3. Attentively examine the removed piston on presence of scratches, задиров, traces of corrosion and damage signs хромировки, in case of need make replacement.

4. At a corresponding complete set remove антивизговой the loose leaf.

5. Having hooked the blunted screw-driver, remove пыльник and take from the flutes in the cylinder sealing cuffs, - try not to damage a cylinder mirror.

6. Remove a protective cap of the gate of prorolling, then turn out last from a support body.
7. Attentively check up a working surface of the piston and a cylinder mirror on presence of scratches, cracks and signs of excessive deterioration. Estimate a condition of carving fixture.
8. Traces of weak corrosion can be removed by polishing of working surfaces of elements by a fine-grained emery paper.
9. In summary wipe surfaces methyl spirit and dry compressed air.


Assemblage

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Preliminary having greased screw into place the gate of prorolling and establish on it a protective cap.
2. Fill in cylinder flutes new sealing cuffs, - track, that cuffs have not appeared are overwound in flutes.
3. Grease a cylinder mirror.
4. Fill the piston (in gathering with established on it пыльником) in the cylinder and push inside it against the stop.

5. Planting пыльника in the support case is made by means of special оправки.

6. Establish a support on the regular place (see Has undressed Removal and installation of supports of disk brake mechanisms).
7. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
8. Pump over brake system (the Section Prorolling of brake system see).
