Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The design ступичной assemblages of a forward wheel of considered models is presented on an illustration.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove a corresponding forward wheel and give ступичную a nut.
4. On the models equipped ABS, remove the wheel gauge.
5. On models with an active suspension bracket (Active-ECS) disconnect from the bottom operating lever the gauge of height of a road gleam.
6. Remove a support and колодки the brake mechanism. Tie up a support to suspension bracket elements, trying not to admit a tension of a brake hose.
7. By means of a special stripper liberate from assemblage of a rotary fist a spherical support and a tip of steering draught.
8. Liberate from a nave a power shaft.
9. Отболтите the bottom end of a rack also remove a nave in gathering with a rotary fist from the car.
10. Transfer the removed assemblage on a workbench.
11. Hooking a small screw-driver with the blunted hall, take from the landing nest the epiploon established from the party turned towards a power shaft of a rotary fist.

12. By means of a stripper separate a nave from a rotary fist.

13. By means of a stripper take from a nave an internal holder of the wheel bearing.

In order to avoid bearing damage at all do not beat out a holder from a nave a hammer! Take care, that at extraction of a holder the nave has not fallen.

14. Remove established with the party of a rotary fist turned towards a power shaft a lock ring. By means of a stripper liberate from assemblage of a fist the bearing.
15. After the bearing will be removed, its external holder can be beaten out by means of brass выколотки.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Fill the wheel bearing universal greasing. With a thin layer of the same greasing grease подшипниковые surfaces of a rotary fist.
2. Запрессуйте the bearing in a fist, then by means of the special tool establish an internal holder of the bearing.
3. By means of approaching оправки fill an internal epiploon in the landing nest заподлицо with a face surface of a fist.
4. By means of the special adaptation of type МВ990998 plant a nave in a fist, - the nut of the landing tool is tightened with effort 200 ÷ 260 H•м. Повращайте a nave for усадки the bearing.
5. Clamp a fist in a vice with soft sponges and by means of nozzle МВ990998 and динамометрического a key measure the moment проворачивания naves. The maximum admissible value makes 1.8 H•м. Check up freedom of rotation of the bearing.
6. Establish циферблатный a measuring instrument so that, it плунжер rested against the pierced face surface of a nave and define size axial люфта assemblages. The maximum admissible value makes 0.05 mm.
7. If at tightened with demanded effort (200 ÷ 260 H•м) ступичной to a nut axial люфт or the moment проворачивания exceed the maximum permissible values, hence takes place infringement at bearing or fist installation, - repeat assemblage procedure.
8. Establish assemblage of a nave with a fist on the regular place on the car. Fill in a fist a finger of a spherical support and tighten its new nut with demanded effort (72 H•м).
9. Pass in a nave a power shaft.
10. Connect a rack and tighten bolts of its fastening with demanded effort (110 ÷ 130 H•м: for models Mirage and 90 ÷ 105 H•м: for models Diamante).
11. Plant in a fist a tip of steering draught and tighten a nut of its spherical finger with demanded effort (34 H•м: for models Mirage and 29 H•м: for models Diamante).
12. Establish a brake disk and a support.
13. On models with an active suspension bracket (Active-ECS) establish the gauge of height of a road gleam and tighten a bolt of its fastening with effort 20 H•м.
14. On models with ABS establish into place the wheel gauge (the Brake system see the Head).
15. Establish a washer, screw a new counternut on a pin of a power shaft and tighten it with demanded effort (200 ÷ 260 H•м).
16. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Ступичная assemblage of a forward wheel on models Galant 1994 ÷ 1998 of вып. To dismantling and service is not subject!

1. A design ступичной assemblages on models Galant 1994 ÷ 1998 of вып. It is presented on an illustration.
2. Take шплинт, give ступичную a nut and remove a washer.

3. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove a corresponding forward wheel.
4. On equipped ABS models remove the wheel gauge.
5. Remove a support and brake колодки. Remove a clamp and liberate a brake hose from an arm to assemblage of a rotary fist. Tie up a support to suspension bracket elements, having tracked that the brake hose has not appeared tense.
6. Remove a brake disk with ступичной assemblages.
7. Liberate the top spherical support from a rotary fist and delay assemblage of the last outside, having liberated from it a power shaft.

8. From the back party of a rotary fist turn out four bolts of fastening of a nave.

9. Remove a nave in gathering with the wheel bearing, - the nave is not subject to regenerative repair and in case of failure should be replaced.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If the rotary fist requires replacement, transfer on new assemblage the dustproof screen of the brake mechanism and a basic arm of a hydraulic hose

2. Establish a nave on assemblage of a rotary fist and tighten bolts of its fastening with demanded effort (88 H•м).
3. Fill in a fist the top spherical support and tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut of a spherical finger with demanded effort (28 H•м).
4. Establish a washer and tighten with demanded effort (200 ÷ 260 H•м) ступичную a nut.
5. Establish on ступичную assemblage a brake disk.
6. Establish анкерную скобу and a support of the brake mechanism.
7. On models with ABS establish the wheel gauge.
8. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
