Removal and installation of the key transistor (the ignition module)

Systems of contactless ignition with the distributor

Engines of 1.5 l, 1.8 l, 2.4 l and 3.5 l

The key transistor is built in in the ignition distributor, the description of procedures of removal and which installation see more low (in Section Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition (model with contactless system of ignition)).

Engines 2.0 SOHC and 3.0 l SOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Disconnect from assemblage of the key transistor electroconducting.
3. Turn out fixing screws and remove the transistor.
4. Installation is made upside-down.


System of direct ignition (DIS)

Engines of 1.6 l, 2.0 l DOHC and 2.4 l DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Disconnect from assemblage of the key transistor electroconducting.
3. Turn out fixing screws and remove the transistor.
4. Installation is made upside-down.


Engines of m of 1.8 l of 2.4 l since 1999 вып.

Engines of 3.0 l DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

2. Remove the delivery chamber of an inlet air path (the top section of the inlet pipeline).
3. Disconnect from assemblage of the key transistor electroconducting.
4. Turn out fixing screws and remove the transistor.
5. Installation is made upside-down.
