System of operated ventilation картера (PCV) - the general information, check of a condition and replacement of components

The general information

Entering into an obligatory complete set of engines of all models considered in the present Management system PCV serves for issue decrease in atmosphere of hydrocarbonic connections at the expense of a conclusion from the engine картерных gases. The block purge is carried out by prorace of fresh air arriving from an air cleaner through картер in which it mixes up with the collected evaporations and broken of chambers of combustion by gases and deduced through valve PCV in the inlet pipeline. The principle of functioning of system of operated ventilation картера is presented on an illustration.

Valve PCV, air inlet and the complete set of the hoses connecting listed devices with the engine concern number of the basic components of system.

For the purpose of maintenance of stability of turns of idling valve PCV blocks a purge stream at deep depression in the inlet pipeline, valve refusal can lead unexpected остановам the engine and to sharp jumps of turns.

Infringement of serviceability of functioning of system of ventilation картер can lead to infringement to stability/decrease of turns of idling, up to spontaneous останова the engine, to development of leaks of oil, formation of a tarry touch on internal surfaces of the unit.

Check of serviceability of functioning of valve PCV

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect from valve PCV a ventilating hose. Remove the valve from the engine (turn out it or take from the landing plug in a cover of a head of cylinders). After valve removal again connect to it a ventilating hose.

2. Start the engine on single turns and press a finger to an aperture in the valve, - in assemblage depression should take place.

3. If depression it is not felt, at first check up passableness of a hose, then (if the hose is perfectly in order), muffle the engine, liberate the valve from a hose and by means of a thin core check up freedom of its course плунжера, - the core is entered into an aperture with the equipped carving of the party of assemblage.

At stirring the serviceable valve should publish a crash.

4. In case of need make replacement клапанной assemblages.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn out the valve from the nest in a cover of a head of cylinders, or having pulled vertically upwards, take it from the rubber landing plug. Estimate a plug condition, in case of need make replacement.
2. If the valve is hammered by tarry adjournment, the probability of infringement of passableness of a connecting hose is not excluded also, - remove a hose and wash out its solvent.
3. Having washed out a hose, check up it on presence of signs of ageing of a material and mechanical damages. Track reliability of fixing of a hose on reception unions.
4. In case of need make valve PCV replacement.
