Check of oil pressure

Check of serviceability of functioning of a measuring instrument of pressure of oil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect from a measuring instrument electroconducting. By means of a special lamp-sampler (12 In, 2.4 Вт) earth contact of a socket from a measuring instrument plait on weight.

2. Include ignition.
3. If all components of a chain work regularly, the control lamp will light up and will start to work in a continuous or flashing mode, the arrow of a measuring instrument will thus be displaced. If the lamp works, but the arrow of a measuring instrument remains motionless, replace a measuring instrument. At simultaneous refusal and a lamp and a measuring instrument it is necessary to make corresponding regenerative repair of an electric chain. Also check up a gauge condition, in case of need make its replacement (see further).


Check of serviceability of functioning of the gauge of pressure of oil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect from the gauge electroconducting and turn out it from a landing head полнопоточного the oil filter.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between the contact plug and the case of the gauge and consider an instrument reading. If conductivity is absent, replace the gauge.
3. Further pass a thin core in an oil aperture in a gauge end face. Press on a core and again consider the ohmmeter indication, - conductivity should disappear, otherwise replace the gauge.

The gauge should be disconnected at creation in a pressure aperture nearby 5 кГс/см2.

4. By giving in air gauge check up serviceability of a condition of its diaphragm (the gauge should remain tight).


Pressure check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.

3. Disconnect from the gauge electroconducting and turn out it from a landing head of the oil filter.

4. Check is made by connection of a special mechanical manometre instead of the gauge of pressure of oil. The tachometre if check be made at certain turns of the engine can be demanded also.
5. Following instructions of manufacturers, connect instead of the gauge a mechanical manometre for measurement of oil pressure. In case of need connect also a tachometre. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
6. Start the engine and leave its working on single turns.
7. Consider the manometre indication at the cold engine. Write down result of measurement.

In case of need engine turns should be established on a preset value, - Specifications see.

8. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature (top радиаторный the hose should become warm to the touch).
9. Consider the manometre indication at the hot engine, write down result, then switch off ignition.
10. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. Excessively low pressure at the hot engine and high at the cold say that oil not that grade is used. Fill in in the engine oil of a demanded grade and repeat check.
11. Excessively low indications in both measurements testify infringement of serviceability of functioning of the oil pump (the probability of use of too liquid oil is not excluded also). Overestimate of both indications can be connected with overflow картера, excessively high viscosity of the oil filled in in the engine or with malfunction редукционного the valve of the oil pump.

12. Grease a carving part of the gauge with hermetic, or wind with its teflon tape/tape ФУМ. Screw the gauge in a head of the basis of the oil filter and tighten it with demanded effort (12 H•м). Restore initial connection of electroconducting.
